Insulating
LR Series
Overview
The LR series is an excellent construction and insulating material
with excellent thermal insulating and acoustic absorption properties.
The rock wool is obtained from the fusion and spinning of natural rocks
bonded by thermal inducing resins. It is produced on 2000x1200mm panels
with 50,60 or 100 kg/m³ density. Because of its thermal properties, the
rock wool is used to insulate walls and attics, in the construction of
insulating panels for air handling units and for tanks insulation.
Because of its acoustic properties, the rock wool is used in the
construction of all kinds of silencers and insulating cells. For this
reason it is proposed also in a version with a protecting film on one or
both sides. The film protects the rock wool from the
abrasive action of the air lengthening the durability of the silencer
and prevent the release of dust particles in ducted air.
